Five For Friday: School

School is back in full swing so this week's playlist is all about school subjects! What is/was your favorite subject? Here's to a great school year for all of you students and teachers!

Rediscover: The Raconteurs

This is The Raconteurs a little different than you're used to seeing/hearing them. When you get an opportunity to record with Ricky Skaggs, you don't say no. :)

Discover: The Barr Brothers

Why have I not heard of these guys before now? I don't know, but I'm glad I finally came across them. I love their sound and always like it when bands use interesting instruments. Learn more about The Barr Brothers here.

Five For Friday: RIP(ish) WRAS

On this week's playlist you will find bands that used to be played on 88.5 WRAS... They're still there if you happen to be able to tune in on your computer, but GPB has taken over their airwaves during the hours that I normally listen to them. I still miss my 2 hour ska sessions every Friday afternoon...

Long live WRAS and have a good weekend!

Rediscover: Mutemath

If you've never listened to Mutemath, do yourself a favor and listen to them NOW. So good! So tight! And their drummer is a beast.

Discover: Great Lake Swimmers

Great Lakes Swimmers is another one of those bands that I've known of for a little while, but never got around to really listening to until now. Hope you enjoy them!

Five For Friday: Pests and Unwanted Guests

This week's playlist is all about insects and other critters that most people would rather not encounter... especially in their homes. Here's to hoping you avoid running into any of these and that you have a great weekend!
